Mechanical assembly

Uploaded byDuolix Labs

Prepare, print, and assemble the modular Qmini structure.

Prepare every mechanical group

Print and inspect the published parts, then organize the torso, left leg, right leg, head, covers, fasteners, and actuator groups before assembly.

Build from the torso outward

Follow the upstream DIY guide. Add one joint at a time, preserve cable clearance through the full unpowered range of motion, and confirm left/right orientation before tightening.

  • Do not energize a joint during mechanical assembly.
  • Check printed parts for cracks, warping, or poor layer adhesion.
  • Use a stand before installing or testing both legs.
